Bryna and Matt's Special Day

And it has been a long time coming!! Matt and Bryna have been dating for about a zillion years and they FINALLY became hubbie and wifey this past weekend. I know this couple from their high school days but we really became close when they opened up their home to me for 6 months while I lived in Milwaukee. I think they were a little hesitant at first but when Matt learned of my rollerblading and cooking skills I was his new best friend. And having buyers remorse was never an issue because it's okay to order multiple $$$ worth of merchandise from Victoria's Secret when Bryna and I were BOTH charging the goods.

Transportation for bridal party... only in the Northwoods :)
The beautiful bride!!
Happy couple... and 3rd wheel!!
Family!!
I caught the bouquet!!! Guess who is getting married next...

Thanks for letting us celebrate!!

Birthday...the big 2-7

So I turned 27 this year... to me, no big deal. 30 is still a few years off and 2010 is going to be such a big year for Kevin and me it is hard to really get all worked up about being another year older.
To celebrate, my sister invited my friends Sarah and Kaitlin, and me to party it up with her in Eau Claire. The 3 of us, being EC alumni decided to celebrate turning another year older by partying with a bunch of kids about 5 years younger than us. Nothing like showing a bunch of college kids how the old ladies party!!

Birthday shots and rum & diets at the Pio!!

Cheers to being old... oh, and good friends!!

"Siblings don't shake hands...siblings gotta dance!!"

Alli's good friend and roomie Amanda played the role of paparazzi. I have only chosen a handful of pictures, out of about 150 to display. Below is my favorite sequence...

Caption- Kaitlin: "Alli, what are you drinking." Alli: "Boones. My favorite flavor. Would you like to try a sip?"
Kaitlin: "Why yes... I think I will!"

Thanks to my friends and family for throwing me a great b-day celebration! And thank you Eau Claire for welcoming back an old lady and her friends!

V-Day

Last year Kevin was on a work trip over Valentine's Day, so this year we decided to go all out.
It may be a total cliche but we celebrated with flowers, chocolates, couples massages, and dinner.

We are both very spoiled... and very loved.

Viva Las Vegas

Kevin and I spent the last 3 days hitting the slots... and the drinks in Vegas!!! We stayed at the Mirage, walked the strip, hit up Fremont Street, lost some $$, won some $$$$, and even saw the Love show. We did NOT however hit up the Chapel of Love... we are sticking with our original plan for the wedding.

The ceiling at the Bellagio... so pretty!

Room service!!! A little treat from my company... great surprise!!!

First night in Vegas. Kevin's company hosted a customer appreciation complete with free food and drinks. I'm not a customer... but I sure did appreciate it!! :)

Bellagio fountain/light show!! Yeah... I'm easily amused.

Mason jar drinks at Toby Keith's "I Love This Bar"

Winner, Winner Chicken Dinner!!! That's a $500 chip baby!!

Our home for 3 days...

Bellagio horse.

My dream!!! Best early birthday present ever... tickets to the Love show!!!

I was yelled at for taking this picture. What an amazing show!!!

At the time this seemed like a great idea...
We had a great little mini-vacation... it was so nice to get away and spend some quality time together. I must admit though, once was enough for me + Vegas. It feels good to be home and back to reality.
